Having worked for various TV shows of different genres, and also having been a radio jockey, Sana has experimented with many things. But what proved to be her claim to fame, is Life OK's 'Gustkah Dil', where she essayed the character of Laajo, a simple dreamy eyed girl from a small village - Sonbarsa. Her portrayal of a total 'jhalli' desi girl won her accolades from all over! Be it the audiences, the directors or her co-actors. She has been a favourite on the small screen.
But recently, Sana was pleasantly surprised to find a new admirer in Sonu Nigam, the playback singer. Sonu took to a social networking site, where he praised Sana's acting skills. Sonu mentioned, “Love n all the best. Saw d new promo of Gustakh dil.U looking like a pro (sic).” Sonu, who has been friends with Sana from quite some time, said this when he saw 'Gustakh Dil's new promo on TV.
Sana, was happy and excited about what Sonu wrote and replied, “Thanku Sir. Wil always try my best to make u proud (sic)!”
The conversation between Sonu and Sana was witnessed and appreciated by all the fans. Sonu replied to Sana's thank you with, “Always proud of u!” to which Sana promptly replied with a touch of drama, *touching your feet*.
We love how Sana is totally candid and herself off-screen too, just like her character Laajo in 'Gustakh Dil'.
